The road less taken
i miss my bestie.
HELLO :) Greetings from perth yo! Yes i arrived safely at perth, like duh! if not i wont be here blogging! haha. ok, its just that its been a looooooooooong time since i last update my blog and i really miss it! i miss WORDS! i miss reading my novels, i miss typing, i miss blogging, i miss writing, i miss studying! i seem to be nerdy only but i am not! *self claim* :) anyways, back to the topic, today will be my 6th day at perth already. A very big thanks to Auntie Annie, Uncle Steve and most of all Aubrey for the warm welcome and taking me in into their home! i feel at home :) i dont think i am at home sick! but i miss everything about malaysia that i experienced!
I have like so many blog posts that i need to blog like CNY, my farewell, my sent off at the airport! be patient be patient! if your limeeleen's loyal blog reader, you will wait rite? :) For now, i shall blog everything about what i experience at perth, now my second home. Well, actually i told almost everything to everyone already so i will be sort of repeating it here! Sorry i dont know how to write more about what i told you all so if its boring then u can now close this page.
I am going to start from the airplane! OH MY! me and aubrey had to walk so far to out plane that night! and we each have a 7 kg hang lugage and i was carrying my laptop and my heavy handbag! aubrey was carrying my dslr and her handbag! it was a horrible experience! and our seats on the plane is way back! it was so hard to walk on the plane between those chairs! Then me and aubrey tried sleeping on the plane, but it was uncomfortable and it was TOO COLD for me. my feet was so cold, i dont know why. i really felt very cold. Thats not it, oh my i am complaining so much! haha! the landing was wobly! then plane was going like a roller coaster! i really got scared, my heart was like droping! the feeling is like when u take the cyclon in genting theme park! couldnt have survive without Aubrey by my side! :)

TADAAA! this is my new room! oh this is when i havent unpack :) see lala making herself at home already :)

how can i not bring my novels! i wrapped each one of it so it wont spoil! :)
I brought all my lovelies things given by my friends and family :)
After unpacking, Auntie Annie, Aubrey and I went to have lunch with U. Tony, Auntie Amy and her bf :)
The aust bus! right after lunch ( on the same day i arrived), Aubrey showed me how to take bus from home to my uni. I had to take 2 buses and its around 1 hour from home to uni. and another hour back home. I did something silly! at least i feel its silly! i did not have the smart rider yet so i had to pay with coins. I didnt know that the 1 dollar coin size is bigger than the 2 dollar. The bus driver is asking me to pay 1.50 so i gave the bigger coin size thinking its 2 dollar and i was standing there waiting for my 50 cents change! AHHAHA! The driver was like looking at me, he must be thinking what am i doing. Then aubrey helped me! :) Then i am suppose to tear the ticket from the machine. but i accidentally tore it into half instead! so i was like crap and i looked at the driver and smile. :) and quikly tore the another half from the machine! was laughing at myself while walking to take a seat at the bus! HAHAHA! :)
Curtin University! this will be the place i am going to study for 4 years :) First time entering my uni just to check it out! and ITS HUGE :) i feel so tiny there! hehe
This will be the library! the whole building by itself. it has 6 floors? i guess. am not sure! i did not enter yet :)
Wooohoo. my first day arrived at perth and it was so packed with things to do! :)
Then the next day, just went and get my phone sim card done and went over to Uncle Tony's house after dinner to chit chat till like 1 am :D oooooooh! auntie amy was so generous to give me and Aubrey so many things! I had nail polishs, handbag, rings, clothes, jackets, perfume,shoes,heels and NOVELS :)
And then sunday we went for a picnic! it was for Serena's 5th Birthday celebration! that will be another post by itself! will blog about it soooooooon! :)
And then it was Monday, my orientation day! i was thinking more about my orientation rather than valentines' day! haha! its also the day that i made history of taking public transport alone! :)and yes i made it safely to uni and safely back home without getting lost! BIG ACHIEVEMENT :) *self pats* At first i was sitting alone during the orientation for all the international health sciences students. Then when they split us up to our own respective courses, i got to know a new friend, Jia Ming :) she really looks like cynthia's elder sister! Then we both enrol our units and register our classes together. its so funny when ppl asked me "so, eeleen how many new friendS u made today?" i will be like oneeee :) heheI only have 20 hours a week for this semester and 4 units. am really really really really REALLY looking forward for class to start on the 28th of feb. I did my timetable online already! i do not have a day off but for wed and thursday i just have a few hours class. but i normally ends at 6pm or 5.30pm as there are breaks in between for few hours. but i cant come home because it will take me 2 hours just to travel back and forth. And i did not get to register for one of the classes as it was full so am still waiting for a reply from the department!
Then on Tuesday, i went for the orientation again. it was so boring!!!! i really almost fell asleep! and oh i found out that as a curtin student, i get to access to the free wifi anytime in the uni! wooots! i can still tweet and fb :) anyways, there was this program during the orientation called the "Getting Connected" (something like that) so i went for it because i thought i can meet more people and play games maybe. but NOOO! it was just the speaker talking about how do u communicate on ur body langauge, ur voice tone, ur facial expression and all! *smack head*
oh is so interesting that everything is home cooked and homemade! hopefully i get to learn how to cook some dishes from Uncle Steve, Auntie Annie and Aubrey! they are awesome cooks i tell u! on tuesday night, we had mash potatoes, steak and korean soup! OOH! it was so YUUMMMYYY :)

And then on the same night, Aubrey's friend Joseph came over so i got to make another new friend! haha!
Lastly, Today, which is wednesday, i skipped orientation! WOOTS! its too boring! Today was suppose to be something about grading your english. so i stayed home whole day playing my iphone game and relax (being lazy) Then Aubrey came home with her friends! i get to make more new friends now! HAHAHA! and dinner was super delicious again! simple but very appetizing! we had chinese food :) Played cards with Aubrey and her friends :) they are such friendly people! really nice meeting them! :)
